2. Visit of website
Each time you visit our website, your web browser sends certain technical data to us in order to enable a connection between the device you are using and our server to allow the proper display of our website on your device. In this context the below-mentioned categories of personal data are processed:

The above-mentioned personal data will be encrypted by our web hosting provider Pantheon.io and stored on EU servers until it will be overwritten every 24-72 hours. This ensures the efficient and secure running of our website, including through maintaining information technology services, network and data security.
The legal basis for processing of personal data in connection with your website visit as described above are our legitimate interests in in presenting our company on the website and in the efficient and secure operation of this website pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. 3. Contact form
We provide a dedicated contact form on our website to facilitate quick communication with us. Through this form, we process the information you submit, including any additional details you include in your message. While certain data fields are critical for addressing your request, such as your email address, others that enhance the personalisation of our response, such as name, are labelled as "optional". Besides the information actively provided by you we automatically process your IP address, URL, time of submission of your request and language used when submitting a request via our contact form.
The processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest in appropriately responding to your request pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. When you contact us via email, we (i.e. Anew Climate Europe GmbH or Anew Gas GmbH) process your personal data, including your email address and any other information you provide in your message. We will store your personal data as long as it is necessary to respond to your query or fulfil any other request indicated in your email. Any personal data that is not required for responding to your email will be deleted promptly after you receive our response.
Our processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest in providing an appropriate response to your email and addressing your request, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. 5. Cookies
5.1 General
Cookies are small text files that are placed by your browser on your device in order to store certain information. We use the consent management tool Cookies JSR developed by Joachim Feltkamp. The cookie preferences as well as granted consents are set per session and are deleted once the browser is closed.

5.3 Google Analytics
We use the analysis and statistics tool "Google Analytics" of the company Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, Tel.: +353 1 543 1000, Fax: +353 1 686 5660, E-Mail: support-deutschland@google.com ("Google") on our website.
Google Analytics is a platform that collects data from our website to create reports that provide insights into our business.

6. Recipients
For marketing purposes, we use the marketing automation tool “Mailchimp” from The Rocket Science Group LLC. Your email address may be collected via form submissions on our website and shared with Mailchimp for such email marketing purposes. In this regard Mailchimp acts as a so-called processor of personal data with whom we have concluded a contract governing the processing of personal data exclusively in accordance with our instructions pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, as well as appropriate safeguards in case of a transfer of personal data to the U.S.
7. Transfer of personal data to third countries
Our service providers may transfer personal data to third countries in accordance with the relevant service provider’s privacy notice. Besides that, a transfer of your personal data to third countries not considered adequate by the European Commission or without implementation of alternative contractual measures is not intended.
8. Your rights with regard to our processing of your personal data
8.1 Right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR
You have a right to obtain confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data, access to your personal data and information regarding, which personal data, how and for which purposes is being processed by us.
8.2 Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
You have a right to have any inaccurate or incomplete personal data rectified or completed. If we have disclosed the relevant personal data to any third parties, we will take reasonable steps to inform those third parties of the rectification where possible.
8.3 Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR
You have a right to request that certain personal data held by us is erased. This is also known as the right to be forgotten. This is not a blanket right to require all personal data to be deleted. However, we would encourage you to contact us in the first instance using the contact details set out above in section 1 as we aim to promptly, efficiently and satisfactorily resolve any concerns or complaints you may have in relation to our processing of your personal data.
10. Right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
You have a right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may object to the processing of your personal data for such marketing at any time.
11. No contractual or statutory requirement to provide personal data
The provision of personal data is neither a contractual nor statutory requirement when visiting our website “eu.anewclimate.com” or “de.anewclimate.com”. However, the processing of certain categories of personal data is technically required for such visit as set out in section 2 above.
