Job Summary: Working closely with the Environmental Products business unit, this role leads proactive communications strategy and media outreach to drive brand awareness, support sales activities, and increase understanding of the role carbon projects play in mitigating climate change.
To ensure seamless information sharing, this role is embedded within the commercial team and has a direct working relationship with the Environmental Products President, while directly reporting to the Chief Communications Officer.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Develop and execute PR and Marketing strategies to help achieve business goals and raise brand awareness.
  • Drive media strategy. Develop proactive press strategy and cultivate and sustain effective working relationships with journalists
  • Write high-quality, engaging content across various formats (website, social, whitepapers, video scripts, infographics, webinars, thought leadership, collateral, press releases, talking points, FAQs, and blogs) that both explain and promote the Environmental Products business unit
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms
  • Respond to crises or challenging situations quickly and professionally
  • Work closely with the commercial team to create marketing programs that support business growth, including podcasts, webinars, gated content, and digital campaigns
  • Develop and implement a content distribution plan to ensure content reaches the right audience through various channels

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

  • 8+ years of proven working experience in digital marketing in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience in forestry and/or forest-based carbon projects or adjacent industry required
  • Former journalist or experience in PR agency is highly desirable
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Exemplary verbal communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to develop strong, positive, and constructive relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media tools and Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or a related field
  • Hybrid position based in Anew’s San Francisco or Houston offices preferred. Fully remote will be considered for a highly qualified candidate.

General Summary: Anew seeks a dedicated environmental or administrative professional to support its forest carbon implementation team through soliciting proposals for, and contracting, carbon verification and inventory work, as well as coordinating fieldwork logistics. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual who is detail orientated and skilled in communicating with third-party contractors and can collaborate effectively with internal teams and external parties. Day-to-day responsibilities will cover a spectrum of activities including assisting in field verifications throughout the continental US, Alaska, and Canada (remotely and occasionally on site), preparing proposals for verification and inventory services for over 120 forest carbon projects, planning remote site visits, tracking expenses, managing and communicating timelines and project scheduling, and contributing to long-term programmatic planning. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional seeking a position in the center of the forest carbon market.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Prepare proposal solicitations and contracts for verification services and forest carbon inventories
  • Coordinate site visit logistics - booking hotels, flights, equipment rentals, meals, and preparing field safety plans
  • Prepare maps and inventory data sheets for field work
  • Track budgeting and invoicing for verification and inventory activities
  • Manage field equipment and inventory supplies
  • Manage team access to various software and subscription services
  • Develop, maintain, and update project management tools and platforms to efficiently manage project timelines, tasks, and deliverables across multiple projects and parties
  • Oversee the maintenance of verification schedules to ensure timely and accurate completions
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of long-term project scheduling
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and third-party contractors

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

  • At least 2-4 years of experience in administrative related occupation
  • Bachelor’s degree or an associate's degree with equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and maintaining project schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a forestry or administrative related occupation
  • Experience in ArcGIS mapping and analysis
  • Experience cleaning and troubleshooting data
  • Experience coordinating remote site visits and tracking expenses
  • Experience collaborating with external contractors to successfully manage project deliverables

General Summary: Reporting to the SVP of Environmental Products Sales, this senior role will focus on engaging Aurora and their investor network to establish investor portfolio company relationships and coordinate two-way reporting and communications between Anew and Aurora. As part of Anew’s highly experienced and professional Environmental Products sales team, responsibilities include generating new sales relationships identified from within the Aurora and investor networks, leading communications on marketing efforts and sales strategy to Aurora management, and helping the sales team build long-term client relationships within these new target networks. This role will engage and interact primarily with companies in Aurora’s investor network in a variety of capacities from initial outreach to in-person meetings and education sessions, with the goal of moving these companies into the sales pipeline. The role will also coordinate closely with Anew’s marketing and communications team.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Generate target lists from Aurora and its investors, and leverage candidate’s existing network to generate leads with new clients
  • Conduct market research and outreach to support overall Sales team efforts, especially related to Aurora forestry projects
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits of forest conservation projects
  • Conduct in-person meetings and attend conferences relevant to nature-based solutions and Aurora investor networks
  • Manage and effectively communicate the marketing strategy for Aurora forestry projects Develop and track progress indicators for marketing effort success
  • Generate presentation materials and other client education resources
  • Coordinate closely with Anew's marketing and communications teams
  • Other commercial sales team support as needed

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations with experience in carbon or nature-based projects
  • Experience with using and managing CRM systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant environmental field
  • Carbon project investment/management
  • Experience investing in and/or marketing forest carbon projects
  • Experience engaging with C-suite executives
