Improved Forest Management
Our team will guide you through your options for diversifying revenue through carbon focused forest management, prioritizing increased forest stocking and improving biodiversity.
Grasslands
Restoring or conserving natural grasslands can have a measurable climate impact through soil carbon sequestration. A minimum of 10,000 acres is recommended to qualify as a viable project.
Reforestation and Afforestation
The establishment of forests across landscapes that have been previously been degraded by human activity or natural disasters is creditable through the Climate Action Reserve, Verra, and ACR. We’ll guide you through options for your land.
Wildfire Mitigation
Prescribed burns, thinning, pruning, mastication, or mechanical removal of vegetation are all eligible for avoided wildfire emissions in the western United States in collaboration with Climate Forward, a sub-unit of the Climate Action Registry.
Blue Carbon
The protection and restoration of coastal wetland forests, typically dominated by mangroves, salt marsh plants and seagrasses plays a critical role in carbon sequestration and climate adaptation.

Common questions about land enrollment
Anew is active in Blue Carbon
Coastal and marine ecosystems are vital to the health of our planet, serving as nursery grounds for marine life, filtration systems for onshore runoff, and natural storm surge buffers. Marine plants also naturally capture and store substantial amounts of carbon. Development, deforestration, and damaging upstream activities can release carbon into the atmosphere. Carbon projects incentivize carbon to be stored in this way and offer legally enforceable protection. We can determine if you have a viable blue carbon project and help you make the most of the opportunity by bringing it to market.
Did you know
5% of U.S. timberlands change hands each year for investment, development, and wood product purposes. Landowner intent by itself does not guarantee long-term forest protection, but carbon projects do.
